Welcome to Woodsdale School!
Hello Families,
Everyone knows whales are big, but do you know HOW big? Thank
you to our amazing PTO for partnering with the WDC - Whale Dolphin
Conservation - and hosting a fun enrichment program for our third
graders.
Delilah the Right Whale swam over to visit Woodsdale today. She is a
life-sized, inflatable North Atlantic Right Whale who transformed our
gymnasium space. Delilah measures 45 feet long and reflects the true
size of a real whale. The children were delighted to walk inside and
study her features. They learned that whales are mammals, how they
are important to the health of our oceans, and what we can do to save
them.
