School Resource Officers

Officers White, Morgan and K9 Harlow
Officer White

My name is James White. I have lived in Abington since 2000. I was a student-athlete at Abington High School, graduating in 2013. I ran cross country in the fall, played basketball in the winter, and did track and field in the spring.

I have helped coach youth sports for the town, including basketball, football, and baseball. I enjoy traveling and playing basketball with friends. I am a diehard New England sports fan.

I attended Massasoit Community College where I received my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. I transferred to Bridgewater State University, where I also studied Criminal Justice. I was accepted into the New Braintree State Police Municipal Academy and graduated in September of 2018. I joined the Abington Police Department full time in September 2018.

My name is Officer Gladys Morgan, I was born and raised in California. After High School I decided to go after one of my childhood dreams of becoming a United States Marines. Once completing Basic Training my job specialty was a Field Wireman 0612; which taught me to be a Telecommunicator. After I completed my tour as a Marine, I moved to Massachusetts and started the process to fulfill my second childhood dream of being a Police Officer.

I was hired by Abington Police in 2021 and completed the 14th Recruit Training Class from the Randolph Police Academy.
I am currently RAD instructor as well as a RAD Kids Instructor, and a Sexual Assault investigator. My current partner is K9 Harlow, a Yellow Labrador and he is currently training to become a Therapy Dog. K9 Harlow and I have been interim School Resource Officers since October 2022.
