The Abington Middle School PTO meets on a monthly basis. The PTO coordinates social functions for AMS students and also raises funds for field trip transportation. The PTO is an organization of parents and teachers of AMS. The PTO’s goal is to foster a nurturing and caring environment that strives for continued parent involvement in helping build a better environment for our children. We also promote a school community where teachers and administrators can do their best work with the resources, we provide to enhance student experiences at AMS.

Through fundraising efforts, the PTO is able to donate funds to purchase educational materials and equipment for the school as well as provide enrichment programs and other activities throughout the school year.

Please complete a CORI form and return to the AMS as soon as possible (please attach a copy of your driver's license ~ Cori requests without photo ID attached cannot be processed) if you are interested in volunteering at any PTO event over the school year.

PTO participation is a great way to show your child that you are interested in his/her education! Volunteers are needed the week of social functions to sell tickets during school lunchtimes.
