Kindergarten Screening Information

Beaver Brook Elementary School

All families who have registered for Kindergarten online or are a current AEEP student received an email with a link to sign up for a 30 minute Kindergarten screening slot over four dates at the end of April and beginning of May. Please note the details regarding screening in the email. If you have any questions, please contact Amy Murphy at amymurphy@abingtonps.org.

Families will receive information regarding the 26-27 school year at their screening appointment.

Kindergarten at BBES

2026-2027 Kindergarten Registration Open Monday, February 2, 2026 through Friday, March 13, 2026

Children turning 5 on or before August 31, 2026, are eligible for Kindergarten in the 2026-2027 school year.

All registrations are completed online through the Family Connection portal. 

You will create a new account UNLESS you have an existing Family Connection parent portal for another student.  In that case, you will use those log-in credentials.  For help with Family Connection, click HERE.

 You will upload these required documents (.pdf or picture files) during registration on the portal:

  • Birth Certificate

  • Current physical (including immunizations, lead test, and vision screening, dated 9/1/2025 or later)

  • Proof of Residency (lease, mortgage, or deed)

  • Proof of Occupancy (utility bill tied to the address)

  • Custody/legal documents (if applicable)
