Good afternoon,

I wanted to reach out and introduce myself as we approach the summer. I am the class advisor for the Class of 2028. I have worked with the class and the class officers for the last two years and am looking forward to a successful junior and senior year with a fantastic group of students!

As rising juniors, your students have a lot of exciting events to look forward to. In order to make those events as successful as possible, we will need help fundraising for the Class of 2028 and organizing those events. We start in December with the annual Junior Auction which serves as the primary fundraiser for junior and senior events for the Class of 2028. We need those funds to stretch and cover Junior Prom and Grand March, Homecoming, Senior Reception, and other fun days of junior and senior year. The auction is a huge undertaking, and we will need a lot of support along the way.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the Junior Auction, typically the evening involves three parts: a silent auction, basket/bucket raffles, and a live auction. We will need items donated to fill each of these parts of the program. In the past donations have included gift cards, discounted services, themed baskets, items, tickets to live events, tickets to sporting events, etc. It is usually a great evening with lots of community members coming to show support for the Junior class.

In the Fall, we will hold a meeting on the evening of the AHS Open House to give more information and put together a team of parents to help with the raffle. I will be in touch at the start of the school year with some dates and more details about the meeting. In the meantime, the class officers and I plan to hit the ground running this summer and start reaching out to local businesses for donations. If you have any suggestions or ideas for the auction, please don't hesitate to reach out to me via email or on Rooms. It's not too early to start thinking about how you can help, and no donation is too small!

I look forward to working with you all in the coming years!
