FOOD DRIVE 

Drop off non-perishable food in the box located by the Nurses Office and the town library starting Friday, 9/11 through Wednesday, 9/23. This collecting of food will support the Abington Food Pantry. Most needed items: canned and dried food, coffee, tea and baking items, snacks. 

ACADEMIC CENTER FOR ENRICHMENT (ACE) 

Join Mr. Grijalva in room 2204A after school. The program will run from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Email or see Mr. Grijalva with any questions. Upcoming dates: September 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 

HOMECOMING DANCE – OCTOBER 2 (Tickets on sale through September 25) 

The Abington High School Homecoming Dance will take place on Friday, October 2 from 7-9pm at Reilly Field. Tickets must be purchased in advance and behavior contracts are required to purchase a ticket. Behavior contracts were handed out in homeroom. Tickets are $20 and will be on sale at all three lunches from Monday, September 21 to Friday, September 25. Tickets will not be sold after the 25th. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Cormos or one of the senior class officers. 

ASIAN STUDENT UNION  

The Asian Student Union will hold their first meeting of the school year on Wednesday, September 23, after school at 2pm in Ms. Wilson's Room (2220). 

FINANCIAL AID NIGHT 

The Guidance Department is hosting a Financial Aid Night, Tuesday September 29 at 5:30pm in the Seminar Room. Parents/Guardians of seniors are strongly encouraged to attend. 

PSAT EXAM 

Abington High School will be hosting the PSAT on Saturday, October 17th at 7:30am. 

The Registration deadline is Friday, October 2nd. This exam is open to Sophomores and Juniors only. There are 80 exams available, and exam registration is on a first come first served basis.  

Payment is $18.00 for the exam. Students who are eligible for Free/Reduced Lunch can register for free. 

To register for this exam, you only need to complete payment through the MySchoolBucks Abington payment portal. Click: School Store on the top tab, under Categories- select PSAT. Payment for the exam will register your student. If your child is not registered for MySchoolBucks, you will need to create an account and add them as a student
