Good afternoon, parents of the Class of 2028,
We are gearing up for the Junior Class Auction, our main fundraiser supporting upcoming Class of 2028 events (including Junior Prom, Homecoming 2027, Senior activities, and the Senior Reception). We would love your help to make it a success!
Event Details:
Date & Time: December 3, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: AMS Cafeteria (Open to the public!)
About the Event: The auction features three main components: a silent auction, basket/bucket raffles, and a live auction. Past donations include gift cards, local services, themed baskets, sports/event tickets, experiences, and vacation rentals. It’s a fun, community-wide evening in support of our students.
How You Can Help
Donate Items or Baskets: Check out our Junior Auction Sign Up (next bullet) to view item needs, sign up to donate, and see past examples (including last year's program). Have a business contact or a friend who offers a service? Suggestions and donations are always welcome!
Monetary Donations: Prefer not to put together a basket? Cash or check donations (payable to Abington High School) are greatly appreciated and help us purchase setup supplies and raffle items.
Join Planning Meetings: We host optional weekly parent planning sessions on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the AMS Cafeteria.
Oct: Brainstorming auction items and planning
Nov: Organizing donations and setup.
Volunteer Your Time:
Ad Blitz Day (October 8): Volunteer students from the Junior class will be heading out to businesses on this half day after school. Help drive and accompany students as they visit local businesses.
Event Prep & Night-Of: Basket assembly, decorating, baking, setup/clean-up, and running auction tables.
Spread the Word: Invite friends, family, and neighbors!
