Dear Green Wave:
As we close another school year and look ahead to summer, I want to, again, extend my sincere thanks to the Abington community for your support of the recent override. Your commitment represents a meaningful investment in our students, staff, and schools.
I also want to express my deep appreciation for the trust you placed in our schools through this vote. Your continued support reinforces our shared belief in the importance of strong public education and the opportunities it creates for every student.
Because of your support, we are able to continue the important work of meeting the needs of all students while sustaining the programs, services, and opportunities that make Abington Public Schools strong.
This year has been filled with growth, achievement, and community pride. I am especially grateful to all of our dedicated staff members who make a difference in the lives of students every day, including our teachers, mental health and nursing team, paraprofessionals, tutors, bus drivers, food service teams, lunch/recess monitors, custodians and maintenance staff, administrative assistants, and administrators. Their commitment, care, and hard work are the foundation of our schools.
I am also thankful for the partnership and dedication shown by our volunteers, families, town officials, and residents throughout the year. The care and support our community shows for its schools is something we value deeply.
As we move into the summer months, I hope all of our students, families, and staff find time to rest, recharge, and celebrate the accomplishments of the past year.
