Superintendent's Message

Welcome Back to a New School Year!

As we begin another year in the Abington Public Schools, I want to thank our families, staff, and community for the support you give our students every day.  The first day of school for students in grades 1-12 will be August 27, and September 3 for our PreK and K students. The first days of school are always filled with energy—hallways buzzing, classrooms ready, and new opportunities ahead.

Education is a team effort, and our students succeed because of the partnership between home, school, and community. Whether it’s a teacher sparking curiosity, a bus driver greeting students with a smile, or a parent helping with homework, each contribution matters.

I’m proud to serve a community that values learning, kindness, and the growth of every child. I look forward to the months ahead as we work together to make this year one of learning, achievement, and connection for all of our students.

Here’s to a great school year in Abington!
